Community Health

Assisted in the Competency-Based Approaches to Community Health study, an intervention to prevent childhood obesity among Hispanic children in Nashville, TN

Research Design

Designed a mixed-methods multisite pilot study to better understand food purchasing behaviors and dietary preferences among fathers in rural Guatemala

Capacity Building

Co-created a sustainable ethical review committee in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and trained NGO staff in conducting in-depth interviews

Global Consulting

Consulted for a community-based social entrepreneur in Tena, Ecuador to strengthen their distribution of purified water to local communities

Program Evaluation

Created an evaluation plan for Civic Design Center, a nonprofit promoting equitable urban design, and the Traumatic Brain Injury program at the Tennessee Department of Health

Poverty Index Analysis
